Resisting Federal Occupation

Trump is militarizing our cities to distract from his collapsing legitimacy: the tanking economy, the Epstein files, and his wildly unpopular ICE kidnappings. The Guard is being exploited as a labor pool, while poor and working-class communities of color are targeted as enemies.

We refuse to accept troops in our towns. We refuse to accept occupation of our neighborhoods. We know real safety comes from solidarity and care, not soldiers in our streets.

Militarization isn’t just violent, it’s expensive. Every deployment drains millions in taxpayer dollars that could fund schools, housing, clinics, and jobs. Instead, Trump is pouring our resources into troops, weapons, and intimidation.

We reject this tradeoff. Our communities need care, not cages.

👉 For strategies to respond and resist, read and share the 50501 Resistance Toolkit: Responding to Federal Occupying Forces.

This toolkit is not just a document—it’s a strategy guide, a grounding resource, and a reminder that we keep us safe.

📢 Then, share it widely using these Canva graphics.

Together, we reject militarization. Together, we resist occupation. Together, we keep each other safe.
