Washington, D.C. — The Impeachment Coalition is organizing meetings TODAY, February 17th, with elected officials nationwide to demand that they defend their constituents by supporting legislation to hold ICE and DHS accountable, to claw back ICE’s $75 billion slush fund, and to impeach, convict, and remove the so-called President Donald Trump and other complicit officials.
“Our representatives have allowed this treasonous farce to continue for far too long,” 50501 National Press Coordinator Hunter Dunn said. “Insurrectionists are barred from office. An illegitimate ruler is ordering masked men to throw our neighbors into camps while lining the pockets of the Epstein Class. Any elected official who refuses to impeach this mad king and cut off funding for his secret police is nothing more than a collaborator in his crimes against the American people.”
Freedoms Over Fascism
Immigration and Customs Enforcement is holding over 66,000 of our fellow Americans in camps, about three times as many people as were detained in the Nazi concentration camp system in the spring of 1939. Meanwhile, less than 14% of the immigrants taken into custody by ICE have been charged with or convicted of a violent crime, and 43% of ICE detainees have no criminal record. Under the Second Trump administration, 43 people have died in ICE custody or during an encounter with immigration enforcement, including ICE and CBP’s public executions of Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti. Donald Trump has already killed over 750,000 people by gutting USAID, including over half a million children. Federal agents arrested journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort for the crime of covering a protest. The cuts to Medicaid alone will result in nearly 11 million people losing their healthcare. Trump openly violated international law and the Constitution by invading a sovereign nation after committing 130 extra-judicial murders in the Caribbean. The Trump Administration illegally redacted the Epstein Files to protect alleged abusers, and is illegally withholding millions more. The list of impeachable offenses and abuses committed by ICE’s state-sanctioned domestic terrorists only continues to grow.
“It is time for the American people to demand that Congress defend and represent their constituents,” said FLARE Council-member Bailey Townley. “Trump is a traitor to this country; he and his regime will be held accountable for their crimes. Democracy dies when Congress abdicates its job. We call upon the House to impeach Trump and his regime. The Senate has now been put on notice to convict and remove Trump and his regime.”

“We are going to district offices on 2/17 because the American people are fighting for their neighbors against the deployment of ICE and CBP paramilitary forces while Congress keeps saying that it is complicated,” said Keira Havens, Executive Director of Citizens' Impeachment. “It is not. It has been more than three weeks since Jeffries promised to initiate impeachment if Kristi Noem was not fired, but she still has not been fired. We are demanding that impeachment begin.”
The National Day of Lobbying for Impeachment is being organized by the 50501 Movement, FLARE, and Citizens’ Impeachment, all members of the Impeachment Coalition. Organizers are hosting meetings with elected officials in their home districts to lobby for the impeachment of Donald Trump, Kristi Noem, Pete Hegseth, Pam Bondi, Kash Patel, and other complicit officials, strong sanctions, including large budget cuts for ICE and DHS, and other steps to help protect their communities from this administration.
