50501 Organizers

On this tax day, Americans are drawing attention to billionaires and corporations that pay little in taxes but drive up costs for everyone else.  Building on the successful No Kings rallies March 28, unions, community organizations, and  families across the country are planning the next day of protest on May 1 as part of the May Day Strong initiative.  

The 50501 movement is demanding that Representative Eric Swalwell resign from Congress in light of the credible and horrific allegations that have already forced him out of the Governor’s race. We stand in solidarity with the four women who had the courage to come forward with their stories and with survivors everywhere. 50501 also supports the proposed resolution that simultaneously expels Representatives Tony Gonzales, Eric Swalwell, Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, and Corey Mills.

The 50501 Movement is organizing rapid response protests TODAY, April 8th, to demand an immediate end to the War on Iran after so-called President Trump waffled between threatening total annihilation of the Iranian people and a temporary ceasefire. In addition, 50501 is calling for the impeachment of Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and the removal of President Donald Trump for threatening to commit genocide, for ordering and facilitating war crimes, and for being fundamentally unfit to serve
